So I am about to go with Stephanie tomorrow to put down all the money we need to for the wedding. We finally have a date. September 25, 2011. This is good and bad. Good because we are finally getting married, and if the world really does end in 2012, we could at least have some time together. Ha, bad joke. Anyway bad because it gives us one year to plan for it, while trying to get moved into the house, go to like 3 other weddings, and make sure we don’t go broke. We got this.

Also Stephanie and I have been working on a new site to help people keep up to date with all of the wedding. We both thought it might be easier for a lot of people this way. Plus it will give everyone an open forum to discuss the wedding and whatnot. Really allow people to connect with one another. Check it out.

Work has been a little crazy but it happens. I guess the same is true for Chruu, he hasn’t written in a while, but when I talked to him the other day he had a lot of work to get done and he did not seem to happy about it. I feel kind of bad for him, but my programming is limited to HTML/PHP/JAVA/FLASH/C. O well, he will make it through.

On a side note I am looking to update the theme on this site soon. I like the one I have but I feel like it could be better. Honestly I might try to fix this one first. I want to make it span a little more across the screen really. I feel like there is not to much room and it is kind of a waste of space at times. Plus it would be easier for me to add videos, and pictures, and other things that i have to code to be smaller because the site is to small.

To everyone ever who told me get used to life after college, and live it up in college because it is going to be the best time in your life, they were right. College was one of the best time, and growing up is both odd and hard. Looking for a house drove me crazy, the wedding is going to drive me more crazy, and the whole time I have to continue to work and deal with crazy people on the phone.

In other news I heard the iPhone 4 is going to possibly be recalled. While I always have a bad taste in my mouth for apple, the iPhone really did have its issues. I find it funny if you held it ‘wrong’ it would not work. I know this issue with the iPhone was beaten like a dead horse so I wont go to far into it. Go Droid!

So back when I was in college I found a website called Kongregate, and Nick and I proceeded to waste a whole hell of a lot of time on this website. Nick being the person that he is, would start fights in the chat with people and then running away laughing. Good times.

On of the best games on there that took most of our time was called ‘Crush The Castle’, a simple game where to launch rocks and such at the enemy castle to knock it down. Well they made a second one, based off of all the player maps that people made.

So I was browsing around the internet today like always when I came across an article on reddit simply put ‘Mitch Hedberg would be disapointed’. Being a fan of Mitch I had to click the link to find this picture. After seeing it all I could think of was how Caroline would always come over and we would talk about Mitch Hedberg jokes, which lead me to think of some good times at college. I also thought about all the nights that I swore it would just be Nick and I or Chruu and I drinking in the apartment, and it turned into random people coming over and inviting more people. Good times. So I am going to list my five list. Notice I don’t say top five because I can’t remember some of the good times.

1. Playing Rock Band with 15 different people who randomly showed up at my apartment
2. Watching horrible movies and having a beer (a.k.a. The Lakehouse)
3. Going with Chruu to help teach freshman who know nothing about computers (I may have been drunk)……
4. Waking up to Chruu handing me beers
5. Waking up at noon to go to class

I know this list might not be the best but I propose that people add their own lists, so we can all see.

Also I found this link, an article that talks about AutoTune and how it has been dominating the billboard charts for the past few months. The article even talks about how T-Pain is a one trick pony, and as long as he has a laptop he has a hit. I remember having this conversation with my roomates a while back, and I can’t really remember what the end all be all was, but my argument is that no anyone can just make a song, and make the voice sound heavenly. It is not fair to the people who have the talent, and work their hardest, only to be in the shadow of someone who makes a whole album with AutoTune….who we won’t talk about….

If I had the money I might invest in AutoTune and run an experiment where I write a few bad songs, record them, and then see if I can make millions for being an all around crazy freak, wearing a chain that is twice as big as the huge SUV I drive, and do nothing for the rest of my life. By the way, Microsoft thought it was a good idea to jump on the bandwagon. Check it out…
